How to choose a .it domain provider

A practical checklist: long-term cost, registrant ownership, DNS, nameservers and transfer freedom.

Compare the complete cost

The first-year price is only part of the decision. Write down renewal costs, necessary extras and separate email charges. Compare the same period: an initial year plus two renewals is different from a prepaid three-year offer.

ITDomain’s planned prices are €8.99 for the first year and €11.99 for subsequent annual renewals. Three initial years total €26.97, compared with €32.97 for the first year plus two renewals at those rates. Check the final order total before paying.

Check the controls you can use

Check that the registrant will be you or your business. Confirm that you can edit records, choose external nameservers and obtain a transfer code. A useful dashboard also shows expiry and order status.

For .it, also check annual renewal handling, required registrant data and registry communications. A low price does not replace accurate contacts, timely renewals and clear handling of verification requests.
