The first year costs €8.99 total. The prepaid three-year plan costs €26.97. After the initial term, renewal is €11.99 per year. Total prices; standard names only.
Who can register a .it domain?
Registro .it permits adults with citizenship, residence or a registered office in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, San Marino or Vatican City. Accurate registrant and required tax or identity details are necessary. Verification may require documents.
Can I change nameservers?
Yes. With our nameservers, manage DNS records in your account. With external nameservers, edit records at that provider. Prepare your website and email records before switching to avoid interruptions.
Is the domain registered in my name?
The registrant is the person or business you identify in your order. Your account manages supported services and lets you request a transfer code under your extension’s rules.
Do I need to buy hosting and email too?
No. Your domain is a separate service. Connect your chosen hosting or email provider using DNS records. Mailboxes are separate products with their own prices.
Does a .it domain guarantee good search rankings?
No. A .it signals a connection with Italy, but rankings also depend on useful content, crawlable pages, performance and authority. Choose a domain for your audience, not a ranking guarantee.
